Meter Accuracy Testing
The accuracy of either production, system or customer meters are important in understanding how the distribution system is operating. The equipment and methodology used by Hydromax USA enables verification of these meters and also determines where possible problems may occur.
Production meter testing should include all the components of the meter from the primary device through the electronic read-outs and recorded readings. Numerous locations exist where a minor error can cause a false understanding of the actual production. In addition, the meters should be tested at all the operating levels that may be associated with the meter. Various pump combinations that have been developed over time may be outside the range of the different meter components.

Larger customer meter meters are tested in place using the same methodology used for production meters. These tests are conducted to verify that the customer is being billed for the correct amount of water use.
